Hey Everyone. Thanks for opening up the e-mail. We're happy to share an interview we recently did with one of America's fastest athletes over 10 kilometers. For those who don't follow track and field; that's a fraction over 6 miles. Now, join us on this assignment. Close your eyes. Think of another Country. Seriously, join us on this. Close your eyes. Think of another Country. A Country that you'd love to visit but doesn't speak your language. Ok, now picture yourself as 13 years old and walking off a plane into an airport this Country and not being able to speak a lick of the language. This was Biya in 2007. Learning English from watching Cartoons to now being an Olympic hopeful for the 2020 Olympic Games.
Cam Kinsey caught up with Biya to talk about his transition from Junior College to a D1 Powerhouse to a professional athlete under Scott Simmons with the American Distance Project. With teammates that go by the name of Paul Chelimo and Shadrack Kipchirchir, Biya has climbed the ranks at this distance and has been an exciting runner to keep an eye out for. But you won't have to look too hard, his signature 'fro makes him an easy favorite in the field if you don't watch the sport. Click the link below to get the scoop plus his training routines, favorite race events, how he supports ArtiKen, and much more. We would also like to thank you for having read this far. With that said, we appreciate the love and support by taking the time to give a listen and let us know what you think. As always, have a fantastic week and stay tuned to everything we have in store. We're just getting started!
