American Record Holder for 10K, 20K, Half Marathon, and Road 5K
Molly Huddle has become one of the most decorated American runners while channeling her strength from a rather unconventional fuel supply. We got an inside look into Molly’s love for donuts.
ArtiKen: So Molly, we all wanna know! How many donuts do you really eat in a week?
Molly: I try to keep the donuts as kind of a treat, so I only really have them once a week or so. Is that a lot of donuts?
ArtiKen: Of course not! As a donut connoisseur. Where is the best place to get a donut in Providence?
Molly: That’s tough. It’s a tie between Knead and PVDonuts. Providence, RI has a lot of great donut options!
ArtiKen: You’re on your way to pick up some donuts, and you look in your wallet and realize you only have enough money for one. What’s it going to be?
Molly: If I can only get one, it has to be chocolate glazed!
Molly’s Donuts comes with a donut-embellished purple bracelet, complete with multiple flavors of frosting. It also comes with our three unique [Not So] Originals:
One two-tone brown and tan that represents Molly’s favorite chocolate glazed donut.
One purple bracelet speckled with white bits of frosting,
Lastly, we wrapped up the third with a pink vibe with blue stripes and polka dots.
There you have it. If one of the fastest American runners ever can fit donuts into her diet, you can too. Treat yourself!
We are excited to share that 25% of profits from the Molly’s Donuts pack will be going towards New England Distance. [Courtesy of Molly]
New England Distance is a post-collegiate running group based in Providence, RI that supports elite athletes as well as providing middle school track and cross country programs. Molly Huddle is passionate about this project and we are obviously going to stand behind that!
Globally, 1 in 9 people still have no access to clean water. But in the communities we serve, it's 9 out of 9. Water is a daily and crippling challenge. Without water you can't grow food, you can't build housing, you can't stay healthy, you can't stay in school and you can't keep working.
Today, hope is on hold in over half of the developing world's primary schools without access to water and sanitation.
But this water crisis can be solved and that’s why we teamed up with The Water Project to help create a better tomorrow.
