Dear Family, Friends, and Teammates.

I would like to preface this message with the utmost and genuine apology for your loss. I genuinely can not even remotely fathom the pain and emptiness in your hearts. As you know, the bond in the running community is extremely close and hearing this story just broke me. I wanted to do something but I didn't know if/when I should reach out. When I saw Megan followed the brand, I knew I wanted to gift her, and Eli's immediate family with a bracelet that would commemorate Eli!

When Megan reached out and said that the entire team was interested as well, I felt a little bad as there were so many and I'm unfortunately not in a place to gift that many. At the same time, I absolutely do not want to capitalize off death so I am marking these 50% OFF and ask to please don't share what is being done because I don't want ArtiKen to have any publicity from this.

Having said that, Mom, Dad, Siblings, and Megan - I am writing this with goosebumps because I genuinely can not express how sorry I am for your loss. I will continue to pray that God brings peace to your hearts.

To Eli's teammates and Milligan University community - From everything I have read on Eli, he was genuinely a special human being. And I'm not just saying that loosely. I scoured news articles, comments on social media post, post race interviews from High School, and everything in between - and am completely aware of the joy he was to be around. And as reigning National Champions, that is much more than just teammates, that's family.

In short, I am very sorry for your loss and will continue to keep all of you in my prayers. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to talk to Megan as she is coordinating all of this.
