 DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE MARKETING

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Performance Marketing will lead the development of brand partnerships and influencer strategies to grow ArtiKen’s footprint. This individual will work closely with ArtiKen’s cross-functional teams including operations, production, design and sales. The Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for setting the strategy for ArtiKen’s performance marketing moving forward, e.g. responsible for the overall management of digital efforts including paid media, search, affiliate, and paid influencer marketing. This position will also hold responsibility for driving a new business, including setting and achieving revenue and profit goals and analyzing business reporting to determine areas of optimization for scale. The job requires strong relationship building skills and is responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships for growth.

What You’ll Do:

Our Director of Performance Marketing will be responsible for managing an omnichannel performance marketing approach focused on: driving inbound customer leads, increasing digital engagement, ensuring a diversified brand voice, scaling content production, and driving highly-measurable return on investment.
Set strategy for appointed influencers [professional athletes, collegiate athletes, creators] & Brand Ambassadors Program.

  • Build and analyze reports to evaluate and monitor the program and individual ambassador performance
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI + KPIs)
  • Manage relationships with every tier of Influencers (can include a mix of weekly 1:1 calls, monthly group calls, recurring newsletter, etc.)
  • Develop and nurture new and existing athlete endorsements, affiliates, creators, and influencers
  • Represent ArtiKen’s vision and brand enthusiasm, and understand the goals of mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Analyze Influencer content and provide direction to influencers on what works & doesn't work.
  • Work with creative team to create content and leverage UGC for the company's personal social media.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through a performance-driven lens.
  • Manage distribution of commission codes, affiliate links, and product samples to the entire network of influencers.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop campaign-specific strategies for Influencers & Brand Ambassadors (Sporting Events, Black Friday campaign, etc.)
  • Provide feedback and insights to cross-functional teams to help further growth of the company from product innovation, branding, and experience - top to bottom.
  • Travel (<5%) may be required on an as-needed basis, with advance notice provided to the employee

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years managing a team of direct reports focused on performance marketing initiatives
  • 2+ years experience with affiliate marketing and influencer marketing
  • Demonstrated experience scaling performance marketing initiatives
  • Highly proficient in data analytics
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Track record of team player - we before me
  • Intermediate knowledge of run culture
